I purchased a similar set. Not all of them fit, and those that did went missing soon enough. Not recommended, personally.

I can always weld them in. :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL: But why would you use them. Is it for trails to keep mud out as much as pousible?

Iā€™d be worried that it would:
a) Cause condensation that would have no where to escape resulting in rust
b) Trap existing water in the frame causing rust
c) have them fall out while off-roading as @Heimkehr stated making them a waste of money.

I hose the frame inside and out with Fluid Film.

Iā€™m more concerned about the 6 holes each side in the body floor behind the rocker panels. Prime targets to collect mud in the body void. Iā€™ll be finding plugs or covering those with eternabond tape after fluid filming the cavity.

It does seem to make sense however to put them on just before trail day to avoid most mud and grime to get inside the frame and removed immediately after post trail wash to allow air circulation again. Yeah, that makes sense to me.
