Anyone know if this bulletin would apply to a 2023 made on December 14, 2022? I see it says model year 2022 on the bulletin but my vehicle was built a few days before the TSB date. I had to go to ridiculous lengths and burn a quarter tank of gas to finally get out of FORM is why I ask.

This is why i dont clear form anymore. Burning fuel to get out of form, just for it to come back in a few day. I just got the update, im. It in form yet. But i doubt I will be out of form for very long.

It really defeats the purpose of a PHEV if the P part of that is severely reduced because it wants to run the engine all the time. I had a VW dieselgate Golf diesel. Can't wait for my settlement check on this next scandal.

Agree. The 4xe is not perfect but still my average fuel mileage even with form half the year

Pretty impressive! If I didn't commute 20 miles each way and could do more driving in electric mode, I'd probably see similar results.

Yeah i do 6 mile to work. Everywhere i go in my small town is max 10 min drive. So that why I can never clear form unless you drive out of town. But still my average is awsome. I can drive multiple month in the summer without refueling. As long as your average yearly fuel is less then a regular wrangler is, to me that a win. Thw 4xe is also more fun to drive due to the extra weight and power. Also on that picture, that canadian dollar. So even less then USD$. Fuel in Canada is way more expensive then in the US.

Mine has been in FORM for a few weeks. My avg mpg is down to 21 from 29 - totally sucks.

Do you have anywhere you can drive up a long steep hill or something to help get the oil temp up? I had to drive up a steep hill a few times to get out of FORM. Had my oil around 215* for probably 20 minutes or so and that did the trick.

If you want the best chance to heat the oil up enough and for long enough, try to keep your speed close to 40 mph and 3rd gear. Anything faster/higher gear than that, caused my oil to cool down to below 194 in 30 degree ambient temperature.

I understand there are lots of folks who are very frustrated with FORM. But I don't think it's fully understood how wide of an issue this is. I've been driving my '22 4xe for a year, over 5000 miles, and have never been in FORM. Granted I don't charge at home, but charge away from home every chance I get and often run in EV mode when I do. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me; but they won't be in the forums, because there's nothing to complain about when it works.

We also have to separate the cases of a truck clearly being "stuck" in FORM unnecessarily from the instances of people being in FORM for good reason and having it clear after the proper conditions are met. Put all of these things together and I'm not sure you're looking at a successful class action lawsuit, let alone a federal investigation. I know you're probably being a little facetious, but LoL this ain't Dieselgate.

You must do substantially less driving than I do because I have 1,500 miles in less than a month. The big issue for me was that there isn't any way to get out of FORM because the normal driving that I do put it in FORM to begin with. So, doing more of THAT driving wasn't doing anything to get back out of FORM. I had to drive up and down a mountain pass several times in 3rd gear to get out of FORM. Wasted about a quarter tank of gas and I'm sure it wasn't good for the powertrain. That's why I'm frustrated.
