Who's going to see the rubber band?

Personally, I put my keys on my desk at work and it was quite funny to many that noticed the giant key fob with a rubber band on it. Yeah, go Jeep!

if you wrap a fob in tin foil, will it defeat it? I have a 2018 jeep and i want to hide a key, but i am afraid of the push button start. i am thinking i will hide the fob in the jeep wrapped in foil, and unwrap it if i need it.

Test it out. Why worried or push button start. Don’t you have to hold the button down to us it.

Just buy and use a Faraday bag. Here is one of the better ones:

I have those as well. You are correct the key doesn’t open my accident any longer

I DO plan on trying it before I hide the key, but I don't want to buy something else that might NOT work. but I was hoping someone maybe KNEW that the foil thing would or would NOT work

The tin foil will work. I recommended the Faraday Bag as for me wrapping my fob in foil is not what I want to do.

But again, yes... wrapping it in tin foil will absolutely work.

You need a stronger flat bladed screw driver.
