I was just wondering if anybody has had experience putting 37 inch tires on a jeep wrangler JLU?
Jeep Wrangler JL Fitting 37s on JLU? 20220712_160821

I am currently running a 2.5 inch lift with 35s, with plans to go to a 3.5 with the goal of 37s. I am also regearing to 4.88 and installing an Adams driveshaft. I am worried about rubbing with JLU fenders.

What is your trim? Rubicon fenders will have no trouble running 37s with the setup you describe. I'll let someone else chime in on the non Rubicon style.

If it's a non-rubicon, each wheel is about 3/4" inboard of a Rubicon. So, you're going to need a wheel with less backspace. I'd say a 3.5" backspace wheel should work to keep the tire from rubbing chassis components. I have 4.5" backspace on my Rubicon with 37s. As for rubbing on the fenders, I can't answer that, but the 3.5" backspace would help that too, just on the inboard areas of the liners.

Do you have D44s?

I installed a Dynatrac 2" lift with the lower control arms out of the Mopar 2" lift on my 21 JLU with 37s. These pictures are not factory fenders but they run just fine with factory.

@73TAWM love the Army green! Are those Method Race wheels in the bottom pic?
They are!
Usually that's the first thing people change but it took over a year, and after several other mods before I changed wheels. I was waiting for a good deal. Found one at a local Overlanding Convention in Missouri.
