Fire Extinguisher Mount

I just got the America Adventure Labs fire extinguisher bracket mount kit. Easy to install if you’re okay with missing the small trim panel. I however wanted a more stock appearance, so tape patience and a moto tool and some files, it looks almost like a factory option in my opinion. I also put two black rubber caps cut top to fit so it would not rub on paint underneath were the bolt threads stick out. I wanted to post in case anyone else was looking for a fire extinguisher option.

Looks like they put their name and logo on the quick release bracket. When I bought mine it was Synergy bracket.

Nice that you are even carrying an extinguisher. Most people don't.
I went a simpler route on my Sahara.
Marine fire extinguisher mounted to the roll bar using heavy duty zip-ties.
It has not moved since installing it about 5 years ago.

I off-road and rock crawl. Zero issues. Simple thick Velcro ties and I have never had to adjust it.

I'm using something similar, but I used the supplied clamps. I wrapped a piece of black vinyl around the roll bar to prevent any scratches, they're solid. ?

How easy is it to deploy ? If there is a fire you don't want to be undoing a lot of straps.

It is a bit slower than my original carrying method, pictured below, but I traded faster access for a more secure storage method.

Granted, when the top is lowered, it's right there for me to grab sans any encumbrances.

Very nice! What tool did you use? I want to do this exact same thing. I already have the mount installed, just need to modify the panel in a clean way

I have the XG Cargo storage bags mounted on the side rollbar where fire extinguishers normally mount. So, I went a different route and mounted my extinguisher in the center of the rollbar.
