UPDATE:

As many suggested, 1 week was unrealistic. The battery pack was to ship via FedEx and arrive at the dealership on May 27, about 4 weeks after the vehicle was diagnosed. The battery pack arrived late on June 1, and the vehicle was available for pickup the next day. So........a few days over 4 weeks, all the while driving a Ford Bronco low end model, which was a pretty average to below average vehicle........but hey, I put 2300 miles on it I stead of the Wrangler. I will not consider a Bronco because of this experience.

On the 40 mile drive home from the dealership, the Wrangler ran perfectly. When I arrived in my town, I switched from hybrid to electric mode, and the vehicle showed as much on the dash, but it remained in hybrid mode functionally. No message to say that electric mode was temporarily unavailable or that the oil was being refressed, so I called the dealership and explained the issue. We surmised it could be a refresh mode, but they had test driven the electric mode and it was fine (as did I before getting on the highway). We agreed I should drive it another day and monitor it, and they could address the issue if it continued. I stopped at a store on the way home, and when I started the vehicle up agsin, my engine light popped on. My phone immediately alerted me to take the vehicle in for service for a drivetrain malfunction......note: not a charging system issue.

I called the dealership back, and they sent the Bronco out with a driver and picked up the Wrangler. A day later, they returned the Wrangler, and it is driving perfectly. Apparently, when they topped off the coolant during the battery replacement, an air bubble got into the system and the computer interpreted the coolant as being too low. The codes were cleared, the air bubble addressed, and I am driving in electric mode in town without issues. The battery, which was only charging to 22-24 miles distance, is now back up to the full 28 mile charge.

Fingers crossed it will go another 52,000 miles with the same flawless performance as the first 52,000 before possible issues again appear.

PS........it would be great if the EV haters simply stayed off the thread. Their comments are useless to 4xe owners. We are working towards solving problems, not insulting others. Thanks.
Yea, so I got mine back on March 20, battery replacement.

April 24 I got the engine light with a P2E46 - coolant dry, took it in, I guess they just topped it up and cleared the error.

Because June 3, engine light again, and the same P2E46.

They are not following the proper procedures to fill the coolant, this is a common problem owners are reporting.

The service advisor told me when he called after the fix that they were very careful to follow the process outlined for servicing the coolant. Hopefully they got it right this time.

Outlined process is not always sufficient for bleeding. They need to repeat until not getting any more air out.

He mentioned the air bubble several times on the phone, so I am making a strongly educated guess that he was telling me this.

Imagine the additional expense they are incurring outside of the thousands they already spent on the replacement battery, and 60 days rental, now it's requiring multiple revisits for something as simple as coolant.

I agree. It seems the service advisor I am working with (who seems very good) is aware of each of the issues, but the technician/mechanics are the ones who make the mistakes. My guess is that if they make a mistake, they must correct it without additional hourly pay for the mistake. Expense only by tying up the mechanic for that period of time.

Then there is our expense of taking a day off because having to keep running to the dealership.

Yup, this is correct. The process outlined in service library is rather lacking. You need to follow the process listed on the hybrid pacifica. You need to pressurize the system over and over again until you see a steady stream of coolant return into the reservoir with the pump manually actuated in wi-tech. Using the built in bleed routine doesn't do enough. Takes like 20-30 minutes sometimes.

The coolant path is just poorly designed for bleeding. Ideally we'd of had a bleed screw somewhere in the pack to make it easier

I’m under the lifetime unlimited warranty. I don’t want to assume you are too, but it’s probable.

As such, I don’t really care how many fresh batteries they stick into this rolling flashlight between now and the year 2056 or whatever.
I thought they stopped the lifetime warranty long ago?

I found on the JK, I would ride the front wheels up on a rock on my driveway so JK was at about a 30 degree nose high, that would bleed it out sitting overnight

there's a massive battery pack under the rear seat. it's a bit more involved than a jk. air has to go DOWN and under the chassis vs sideways like your example
