I agree on getting exactly what you want.
On my Hella I compromised. I don't need all the fancy stuff, don't want it in fact, but the lack of power locks/windows was an issue even tho my DD is manual as well, buts its a 2 door truck.

On my on-order Hydro the only things I didn't get that I sort of wanted were LED Lighting (which should be standard on an 2022 model costing 40-50K anyway) and the Alpine.

Both I can do myself for significantly less.

One thing that I know is probably hard to understand for you short haulers, is we long haulers find it extremely hard to believe you guys ordered and received your Jeeps so quickly.

My first was 15 weeks, this Hydro is looking like it may be even longer, I'm guessing 16 or 17.

Hell my Hella was in D for 9 weeks and the Hydro for 8, before they spent several weeks in D1 before they even started building them. ?

Completed my build two months ago, still parked in Toledo waiting for a train ride.

Yeah, I can already tell I'm done at one month, which is a week from now.

People laugh when I tell them I will drive to Toledo. People do not know me well.

Would have done that some time ago if it was possible. Looking for alternatives at this point, but it seems most of the dealers in my area aren’t getting any Wranglers either.

My drive is not to pickup my rig, I know that won't happen. It would be to stand in the lobby demanding to talk to the Shipping Logistic Lords, before Toledo PD carted me off.

The old line of no transports played for a bit, but think about it, virtually every other manufacturer has no vehicles to sell. WTF are all the transports that would have been ferrying those vehicles doing now?

I think, in the end, it is about $$$

You realize there is a Class Action Lawsuit against Stellantis for screwing customers on destination charges, right?

But what is their incentive to leave a completed vehicle sitting in their lot for so long? Defeats the purpose of JIT parts to reduce carrying charges, and now also likely hit with increased fuel costs in shipping too. Really makes no sense on many levels.

Remember a trucker chimed in back when I was waiting on my Hella. Said FCA had slashed what they would pay for transport. Said all the truckers told FCA FU and went different directions. FCA supposedly finally folded. Who the hell knows, or cares really, just ship our f'n Jeeps.

Feeling lucky. Ordered December 22, delivered March 9. They said about 12 weeks and it was 11.

They must have a pretty substantial collection of wranglers at the Toledo Raceway by now.

One would think they would be running out of room, with so many not shipped.

They are. If you see "Toledo Raceway" listed on your tracking info that's an overflow parking area that FCA is leasing from the owner of a local dirt track, about two miles north of the main plant.

My dealer quoted us "6 - 12 weeks" when we ordered on 12/4... I assumed 12+ weeks, but my wife is getting seriously ticked, mainly because we have been in "waiting to be shipped" (KZS) status for 55+ days...
My dealer told me 120 days that is 16 - 18 weeks. I feel like my dealer was honest with me as 6 - 8 weeks doesn't seem realistic...

What gets me about the Destination charge ($1595) is that having the vehicle delivered to Hawaii is only $1645. How can they ship it to Hawaii for $50 more. I live 2 hours down the road from Toledo. If they can deliver it to California for $1595, they should charge me alot less to put it on a truck and send it two hours south...
