Yes, I do. I’m not saying that there is a quieter alternative available right now but I predict that there will be soon. Yes, I have changed out a loud fan in another vehicle with a quieter one that moved more CFM than the OEM one.
What was it ? A Honda Accord? Lolol

Don’t you people have anything better to do than complain about how loud a fan is?

I will say they can handle criticism and jokes a little better
Your crapola is getting very old though. I can take some, but you are way over doing it.. And to boot, you have not even ordered a JL.. People get tired of the repeated, lame comments.......... We are all aware that there are issues but the sophomoric comments get very old after awhile.

A quick 20 seconds of googling turned up this $300 alternative for earlier generation Jeep Wranglers. I don’t know if it will direct fit a JL, I’m guessing probably not.
What are the cut on/cut off temperatures?
TJs and YJs were the days people could still own a vehicle and do things to it.

JK's fan is a multi speed unit. I would consider piggybacking or adding a pusher or even an extra radiator for the fan but in no way I would get rid of the stock fan.

Maybe those hood vents on the Rubicon could actually be useful by opening them up instead of having them with a solid back??? Time to bust out the Dremel.

@Slaughter

They do not have a solid back as you suggest. Both hood and side vents on the Rubicon are functional

You are very wrong on this!

FACT is, both vents on the 2018 Rubicon JL/JLU are indeed functional.

The side vents are open and have little to no air flow restriction.

The hood vent is also open and fully functional open. It opens to a little catch tray that is fashioned in such a way that water will channel / flow thru to the backside of the hood. Yes, the water has to flow through the hood vent and then it seeps through that hood insulation, into the channel passage way and to the backside of the hood. And yes, the hood insulation does impair air flow a bit thru the hood vent but again, that hood vent is functional.

Do you consider this actually functional? To me, this is like eating oatmeal through a straw.
