It’s every manufacturer. These quick connect fittings are terrible. I blame the Europeans for starting this design.

I wonder if it's the same vendor or the same attachment method. The engineers (I apologize for being an engineer) may have tried to save weight or manufacturing costs.
Actually the attachment method and material are similar!

Mahle probably makes the parts for every single one of these. Doesn’t matter if it’s an Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Jaguar, Mercedes, and more, they all use some of the same type of connectors. It’s just O-rings. There isn’t anything special about them, they’re just designed to be easier for a robot to install and tightness does not affect their sealing ability so they tend to have good results for a while. They’re simply not serviceable.

Most of these leak at the seam from what I've seen.
