'21 3.6 JLUR-XR eTorque, 27k miles. Still on original 12V battery and windshield. No issues other than my rear drivers side door was out of alignment and fixed under warranty. I did pot my lockers so replaced my diff fluid at the same time.

We have a 2022 Sahara with e-torque. Dealer had to replace 12V battery at 26K miles but covered under warranty. We have 38K miles on it with no other issues.

105k on our ‘21 3.6 eTorque. Just normal maintenance besides a very very small oil seep at the oil pan.

Replaced the 12v battery Dec ‘23 for the first time.

If you need help on how to replace the belts and pulleys….

Yeah, so far so good on the etorque. 👍

Question: does a windshield go bad? I usually only change it if it has a crack in it.

Knock on wood, but afaik, it's still working great. Have >20k miles and ~2.5 years with it so far on the original AGM battery (larger tow-package one, I think).

Honestly not sure how I'd even know what condition the eTorque system is in, but the built-in voltmeter still seems consistent. Usually stays right around 12V at start-up and then jumps to anywhere between 14 and 15V for the first drive of the day (15V if under 32F) and ~13 to 14V for the drive home. ESS start/stop system is still working the same, only being disabled when on a steep incline, when the cabin temp hasn't reached the HVAC temp set yet, or when it's super cold and the batteries are still charging (usually >14.5V).

Think I'd still rather not have the suitcase lithium battery and be able to buy an aux gas tank, Magnaflow exhaust and a tune or supercharger, but it is what it is.

Ordered New, #375-of-500. A 23-XR 3.6 E-torque, Crossed 29k miles on the drive home today. 4 Oil changes and only 90-Octane Non Ethanol for 95% of fuel ups, which has contributed it to feeling smooth at almost all revs and burly little exhaust note on the over-run. Zero issues, my ESS is spooky smooth, but I drive in Manual most of the time and that systems not active when in Manual mode. But the E-torque is able to be felt much more suddenly when laying on the throttle at 2200-3200 RPM’s. Daily driven, so batteries have been a non-issue.

Not a single issue, been to beaches in Daytona and Savannah, thru Creeks in TN,Turkey-Run Off-Road Park, Snow, mud, and everything else Nashville has thrown at it. Including surviving a T-bone collision that would’ve totaled most vehicles ($28k-worth of Frame damage and a bent bumper) Plan on buying out my lease when it’s up and Keeping it till the end of time. Most enjoyable, unique, fun vehicle I’ve ever owned!

They didn't give any details?
They mentioned the price and was ready for the hit..but when I picked it up they said no worries so I left with more money in my pocket.
‘Next oil change I’ll ask again I don’t do any serious mileage anymore.

Since it is part of the 40K mile service they were probably just giving you a heads up that it is coming up. They will charge you over a hundred dollars to do something that you can easily do in less than an hour at home yourself though.

2023 XR 3.6 - runs great, I enjoy it a ton. Have not replaced the 12v yet. I turn off auto start, but on the few times it does it, it’s incredibly smooth. I had a 2019 3.6 w/out etorque, night and day different.

2021 JLUR with 3.6 V6 eTorque. Only 11k miles, I don't drive it every day.

Had a battery drain issue with the 12V battery. I was sometimes going a week or more without driving the Jeep. I think if I was driving it daily I would not have had a problem.
I believe it was partly due to the Rock Slide Engineering step sliders, which are always on and waiting to open. I did have the battery die once before putting them on, then over a dozen times after.
I also read that some JLs had a battery drain problem, possibly due to the location tracking option for theft recovery (like a built in Lojack) which I have activated.

First I replaced my stock battery with a gold top, and still had dead battery problems.

So last year I installed a Cascadia 30W solar panel on the hood. No more dead battery. I park my Jeep outside, and the solar panel keeps my battery charged up when not driving it.

The only other issue I have had is the engine has stalled on me 4 times, while crawling really slow down tricky obstacles, throttle not depressed. Started right back up every time.
