Yes, but so is the JL compared to a YJ, or any modern vehicle compared to one from the 90s. Sometimes the problematic risk is worth the reward the features offers. In the case of the eTorque, I have had both versions of the JL 3.6L and will stick with the eTorque all day despite it being more complicated.

I also have the eTorque 3.6 auto Rubicon. If I had to replace it tomorrow I would get another with the same powertrain but with 4.88’s.
In my opinion, the 3.6 auto Rubicons are the most reliable powertrains offered in the JL lineup (excluding the ridiculously over priced 392’s)

same here man, v6 with eTorque, it would suck having to replace this Jeep
