Could it be solved by designing an extension arm that relocates the holder more inward? Jeep could include this with the dual top option.

I have the exact same issue.
I went to the dealer and told them and they looked at me like well, just don't use that. Same thing when I told them my front doors came pre-dented from factor due to over tightening of the door hinges. They just kind of said - not sure what we can do.Has anyone heard back from Jeep on this? I PM'd JeepCares and although they were responsive they told me to go and see my dealer. I am not sure what the dealer is going to do. They are not capable of fixing a design flaw.
Having the same issue as you all. I thought I was doing something wrong when I put up my top. Hope they figure something out.

Have you escalated this to someone on your product team? What guidance are they providing? What is their time to resolution on this issue? Is Jeep redesigning this and sending us out new parts to resolve this? Please provide us a group update. Thanks
