5th move to June 11th arrival now. How long can Jeep push out the deliver of the part? I guess until I give up? Why do they even put an arrival date if they have no idea?
Is this for the seat track? I had my dealer order one too recently and the date he gave me was 6/13...fingers crossed.

My work order say "frame seat cushion". No idea what they are replacing. But at about 5 lift pumps it goes away.

Got it. Looks like passenger side for you? Mine is driver's side, they ordered the same part but other side (68276602AF)
Well 3 months later this part is finally in and installed, so far (its only been 3 days) so good, we'll see after a few weeks as last time the popping stopped, but came back... hoping the part took months to come in because they were revising/fixing the defect with it

Two months for me and mine isn't popping. Just replaced today and it works as designed now.

But unfortunately I have to go back due to the mess below. The service manager just gave a sigh and said bring it back Monday I'll get you a rental.

I'd buy a Jeep 10 out of 10 times given the chance as I've wanted one since I was 14 (43 now). I love love this Jeep. However the service personal leave something to be desired.

Who can I write a legitimate nice letter to that would one give a hoot and could enable success, consistently, and excellence with the service department?

They also told me my steering wheel wasn't straight (after they replaced the electronics on my sway bar) because I have larger tires. I'll just fix it myself no prob.

Grease and mud which isn't so bad that happens. No complaints I'll just clean it. Life happens

Grease and mud under the protective paper they put down. I think he slipped on the paper and just ground it into the carpet. No prob I'll clean it to get the Jeep back and go sunridder on the way home.

Yes thoes are scratches in the plastic where the door frame hit. Not cool but $150 in parts and 5 minutes to replace, so ok.

Paint is gouged and beat all to hell! Then they added a piss poor job of touch up paint. I mean really?

Dirt, crap, and scratches. I just paid $800 for a ceramic coating. Just wipe it up I'll never notice.

What a joke.

Took my jeep in on Tuesday 25th appointment at 9 in the morning to get passenger seat popping sound fixed. Told service manager that dash has also started making a rattling sound. He informed me that he would try and get it back to me by the end of the day but only has 1 tech that works on this. Said he would call me back. I called at 4 in the afternoon and he tells me that he will need to keep it overnight. Told me 4 others were ahead of me. Next morning 6-26 and no call. I called him back at 11 and he asked me if I would like a rental. Informs me that they are trying to catch up. He said he would give me a call once he has something to tell me.... I have a feeling that my jeep has sat there for 2 days not being touched... Frustrating.. Why give out appointments?

LOL,
At least they offered a rental, dealers in south Texas don’t, only for Mercedes Benz. The part for my passenger side seat keeps getting back ordered. Been several months now, good luck on the fix.

Hang in there,
I’ve been waiting since January. Vehicle still has plenty of warranty left. Hopefully issue gets resolved this year.

Wow that's ridiculous, sorry to see that! Can't stated enough how much I recommend taping up before going into the dealership for this repair as I mentioned previously: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/drivers-seat-popping.14220/page-4#post-463277

UPDATE: Got the Drivers Side seat track replaced by the deal and no more popping noise. Took a while to get the part in but it did the trick.

Update: A month later and 2 additional days at the dealership ( issue is fixed ) I can see a few small scratches on the paint where they pulled the seat but I’m not too irritated ( i will get worse ones on the trail )

I have the same issue now out of my passenger seat. It started at about 11,000 miles. The seat bottom and track seem tight, however the seatback seems to rock back and forth a bit when someone is sitting in it, or I jostle it by hand. I don't think mine is a track issue. The dealership has a new DS bottom speaker on order, and I guess I will have them look at the seat while it is there for that.. Ugh. But, other than the little 'JEEP' things, I am still happy with my JKUR.

I just had mine replaced on Monday, had been waiting since January. Was also the passenger seat, haven't had a chance to try it out to see if changing the seat assembly fixed it. I'll post after I try it out. I've read that problem comes back.

Update: the popping noise is starting to come back. The replacement seat track fixed it for about 1000 miles and now it's starting again. Guess I'll have it replaced again..
