I recently bought this storage rack for when I take the doors off my JLUS. It's made by EMP (Extreme Metal Products) in Ohio. Obviously, I purchased the 4-door unit, but it is also available for the 2-door. My garage walls happen to be made of poured concrete, so I used 4 5/16" x 2.25" Tapcons. Very easy installation, and great way to suspend the doors from the hinge pins.

How sturdy does it seem? any concerns with all the weight going to one beam without being distributed?
Thanks

TrewJL....it's pretty sturdy. Obviously, when all four doors are hung, the unit is balanced. But even when just one door is briefly suspended, it doesn't seem at all flimsy. My biggest concern was whether the tapcons would hold, but I've put all my weight on it (165#), and it's very stout. One of the things I did just recently was to place some padding over it so if/when I run into it for whatever reason, I don't swear..;)

Put mine on last night into a brick wall. Mounted all 4 doors and the fucking thing came crashing to the ground denting and marring one of my doors. No very happy to say the least

After I installed mine using Tapcons into a poured concrete wall, I literally put all of my body weight on it several times just to be sure it can handle all four doors. It hasn't budged, and I've hung the doors on it many times now. I like it a lot..

How do you get the doors to hang without hitting each other? I have it mounted to the wall, but when I go to hang the doors the metal door stops hit each other. Do you push those in?

Exactly. It's been a while since I took off my doors, but as I recall, I had to have the door keepers pushed in to their inner detent.
