Doors Off Side Mirrors

I've had Wranglers for almost 25 years and never had this issue. I have purchased a few different "doors off" mirrors for my 24 JL and they are perfect with the doors off. That said, because of the mounting location (lower than on the JK because of where the bolts are located) I cannot see the passenger mirror at all when I put the Bestop 2-piece full fabric front door on. It rains -- so the fabric doors are a must (which means I cannot use any of the mirrors that fit into the door hinge)-- It is crazy driving around DC without a functioning passenger mirror. Does anyone have any suggestions for a product that will work?

The Bestop doors have mirrors on them from what I've seen in pics. Are you looking for a mirror that can be run when completely door-less and also stay on when you put the fabric doors on? The CMM mirrors are great, but you'll have to remove the mirror from the A-pillar mount if the uppers get put on because the mirror protrudes outside the Jeep.

Try Lange Coyote mirror. They mount to the cowl in front and a bit higher than door hinges.

I have never seen full fabric doors that come with mirrors anywhere? I have always had mirrors that attach to the A pillar that work with the fabric doors on. The bolt alignment on the 2024s dont have them up there, they are lower so the fabric blocks the passenger mirror. hence the problem. need to have mirrors that work with the fabric doors on or off. Ordered another set that arrives today...hoping for better luck!

I have the Lange setup. For the passenger side, I purchased a piece of aluminum rod and fabricated a longer stem.

Thank you -- we thought that might be a way forward if we could not find a stock set that works. It looks great and if the set that arrives today doesnt work we will do the same!

It doesn't specifically say they're included, but also doesn't say they're not included and every picture shows the mirrors on them. If I bought those doors and they showed up without the mirrors I'd be pissed and would be raising hell with Bestop!

Hope you find something that works! Also, you know the CMM mirrors can go at the top or bottom of the grab handle, right? At least on the 18-23 they can, you just have to switch the sides if I recall correctly.

Yes thank you I saw that can work as well. Just have to zip the windows up around them if it's raining so also an option. Will definitely let everyone know when the other mirrors arrive if they work out of the box or need to be modified. This forum is great. Just joined this week for advice on this and a bunch of helpful people.

I agree on the inclusion. It lists what is included and doesn't say mirrors but they are clearly on the pic of the item so I would definitely call before I ordered bc would assume they should be included.

OK -- I have failed miserably at finding a set that works. I did purchase the Lange Coyote and have not returned them yet. I know this may be a crazy question, but fabricating the longer stem is well beyond my non-existent capability for something like this -- given you have the same mirror, if I was to PayPal/Venmo/etc you up front for the cost of the materials, shipping, and your labor would you be willing to make a duplicate and mail to me? If not, could you explain what you purchased (including size) and guidance on how to do it? Thank you again very much for your help.
