Doors-off Mirrors

Looking for some advice and feedback for some doors-off mirrors. Looking for something decent for my daughter's JLW that won't break the bank. She originally bought a set that bolted to the hinge, but she quickly learned just how crappy they are. I was looking at CMM Offroad originally, but they're close to $300 for the pair now. Anybody use something that's a little bit more budget friendly that don't vibrate like crazy or readjust themselves?

One inexpensive way, is to get yourself some new or used Harley Davidson mirror's or similar. Buy/find on eBAY new or used)

Installed I can attest that the Harley mirror's do not re-adjust themselves..

Aftermarket mirrors with 8 mm ( 8 mm is the size of the 6512430AA bolts for the cowl ) stems will easily screw right into the cowl bolt hole..

Harley mirrors.... or say..

I really like the Lange Coyote mirrors...easy install and do not move around....even at interstate speed.

Mopar doors off mirrors. 200 bucks and they are rock solid just like the stock ones on the doors.

I second the Lange Coyote's. I take these on the interstate and they dont budge. Easy on and off with no tools and they look good.

Kickbax… you can’t go wrong. Includes a foot peg and never turn in at high speed. I love them

I wasnt looking to spend a lot, so I gave the cheap amazon version a try. While I'm not a huge fan of the convex shape, I quickly get used to it.
Other than that, i have no complaints. It attaches with one locknut requiring a 17mm wrench. I use a gear wrench to make tightening the locknut less of a chore. After a few threads engaging, tightening by hand isn't happening, and there's quite a bit of thread before the nut seats.

Personally I like running tube doors with mirrors. I know that might kill the budget but a little security is nice too. I found mine on Craigslist but there are some budget friendly sets on of course Amazon.

X3 on the Lange coyote mirrors. Didn’t break the bank and the easy on easy off with no tools is something I like!

For me the CMM have been worth it. None of the stuff they make has been anything short of high quality. I mounted mine high for when I’m on the trails and around town I like them higher to keep people from bumping them. They also fit into a bad that easily slides under the seat. They are expensive but easy on and off and and great quality.
