Idk but, Iāve just used the pin in the actual receiver hitch. Iāve never shock loaded it but I figured if it can pull a trailer it can take a gentle pull to get me out of something. But, to note Iāve always used the recovery hook on my Jeep.
Mines always done that. Itās almost always in the morning leaving my neighborhood and some times randomly. Sometimes itās way harder than others. I have reason to believe that itās temperature related but, canāt prove that.
Hey, Iām looking for a better place to store my soft shackle closet to the drivers seat. I currently keep them on the drivers side āCā pillar of the sport bar. Iām trying to figure out a great place to keep them from blowing around when topless and doors off and away from my kids in the back...
So, I dropped the windshield the other day and when I put it back up I noticed a rubber seal that can with go between the windshield and āAā pillar or between the āAā pillar and the door jam. The question is does anyone know which way itās supposed to go?
Ok cool, this is the kinda stuff I canāt find anywhere. Have you noticed that you get a lot debris coming through the fairlead? My Factor 55 shackle blocks most of the slot right now and thatās one of my other concerns.
Iām considering switching away from my Factor 55 shackle to Yankums fairlead. I understand the plus and minusās, I donāt want to hear about UV damage (unless you have actual experience and proof).
Iām asking now since they
Does anybody have any experience with them?
Thank you
The people that run K-Rock are in my club. They have indicated that itās not an awfully lucrative business (at least in Kansas). I would assume that insurance, prices of rigs and fuel and taxes would be the main contributing factors. Unfortunately if you have not been paying attention there has...
I put a 3/4ā coil spacer in to bring the front back up a little. I wish I would have done an 1ā or 1.5ā. But itās totally dependent on the bumper and or winch plate and winch total weight. But, you will get a little front end sag unless you do something.
My premium soft top rear window is ripping where the rubber piece slides into the rear window bar. I just kinda noticed this and donāt know how much it will want to continue to rip. Has anyone else had this problem? I doubt it would be a warranty thing because apparently that is a ridiculously...
It happened to my ā22 JLUXR on the passenger side. I just cut a little of it out havenāt had an issue since. Happened when it was really windy on the interstate.
No, itās an option that you have to pay for, donāt buy the cheap Amazon one it falls apart so easy. Iām going to upgrade to the Mopar at some point. This is how I store the windows at home.
This is what I do with some clamps from Home Depot. The quarter windows are a little wavy until theyāre installed for like 30 minutes or so then they straighten all the way back out. I donāt know if this is the best way but itās been working for 6 months or so. Sometimes they hang for several...
Iāve heard that you can put 35ās on a stock rubi and rims. I have 35ās on XR rims and have welled hard at Wolf Caves in TX aired to 10/11 psi and burped them a few times but 0 issues with tire placement. Might rub with sway bar unlocked and flexed but, I wouldnāt be the authority though.
For me the CMM have been worth it. None of the stuff they make has been anything short of high quality. I mounted mine high for when Iām on the trails and around town I like them higher to keep people from bumping them. They also fit into a bad that easily slides under the seat. They are...
1) Relay to power winch (set to ignition only)
2) Quick connect for my air compressor (two pin trailer connector)
3) Pod lights on bumper
4) GMRS radio master switch
I destroyed my stock steel so, Iām running bobbed right now. Be careful with those corners and wrap arounds if you crawl at all, tub takes more of a beating from the bumper than the rocks.
