  1. 2" receiver recovery hitch VS 2" receiver extension

Idk but, Iā€™ve just used the pin in the actual receiver hitch. Iā€™ve never shock loaded it but I figured if it can pull a trailer it can take a gentle pull to get me out of something. But, to note Iā€™ve always used the recovery hook on my Jeep.
  2. Automatic Transmission Issue

Mines always done that. Itā€™s almost always in the morning leaving my neighborhood and some times randomly. Sometimes itā€™s way harder than others. I have reason to believe that itā€™s temperature related but, canā€™t prove that.
  3. Soft shackle storage location?

Hey, Iā€™m looking for a better place to store my soft shackle closet to the drivers seat. I currently keep them on the drivers side ā€œCā€ pillar of the sport bar. Iā€™m trying to figure out a great place to keep them from blowing around when topless and doors off and away from my kids in the back...
  4. Windshield seal thingy.

So, I dropped the windshield the other day and when I put it back up I noticed a rubber seal that can with go between the windshield and ā€œAā€ pillar or between the ā€œAā€ pillar and the door jam. The question is does anyone know which way itā€™s supposed to go?
  5. Any one running Yankums fairlead?

Ok cool, this is the kinda stuff I canā€™t find anywhere. Have you noticed that you get a lot debris coming through the fairlead? My Factor 55 shackle blocks most of the slot right now and thatā€™s one of my other concerns.
  6. Any one running Yankums fairlead?

Is it difficult to get the line out if you donā€™t have one of those pull straps?
  7. Any one running Yankums fairlead?

Iā€™m considering switching away from my Factor 55 shackle to Yankums fairlead. I understand the plus and minusā€™s, I donā€™t want to hear about UV damage (unless you have actual experience and proof). Iā€™m asking now since they Does anybody have any experience with them? Thank you
  8. Jeep Expands Badge of Honor Program to 68 Trails

The people that run K-Rock are in my club. They have indicated that itā€™s not an awfully lucrative business (at least in Kansas). I would assume that insurance, prices of rigs and fuel and taxes would be the main contributing factors. Unfortunately if you have not been paying attention there has...
  9. Bumper&winch

I put a 3/4ā€ coil spacer in to bring the front back up a little. I wish I would have done an 1ā€ or 1.5ā€. But itā€™s totally dependent on the bumper and or winch plate and winch total weight. But, you will get a little front end sag unless you do something.
  10. Soft top rear window issue.

My premium soft top rear window is ripping where the rubber piece slides into the rear window bar. I just kinda noticed this and donā€™t know how much it will want to continue to rip. Has anyone else had this problem? I doubt it would be a warranty thing because apparently that is a ridiculously...
  11. Is this why, or is this not normal?

It happened to my ā€˜22 JLUXR on the passenger side. I just cut a little of it out havenā€™t had an issue since. Happened when it was really windy on the interstate.
  12. Soft top windows with the subwoofer?

Get the MOPAR the cheapest one sucksā€¦ ask me how I knowā€¦ the stitching is horrible and so is the zipper.
  13. Soft top windows with the subwoofer?

No, itā€™s an option that you have to pay for, donā€™t buy the cheap Amazon one it falls apart so easy. Iā€™m going to upgrade to the Mopar at some point. This is how I store the windows at home.
  14. Soft Top Storage

This is what I do with some clamps from Home Depot. The quarter windows are a little wavy until theyā€™re installed for like 30 minutes or so then they straighten all the way back out. I donā€™t know if this is the best way but itā€™s been working for 6 months or so. Sometimes they hang for several...
  15. Rubicon Wheel/tire question...bear with me...lol.

Iā€™ve heard general rule of thumb is you can match psi to rim diameter
  16. Rubicon Wheel/tire question...bear with me...lol.

I normally go to 15psi but have gone way, way lower just depends on terrain.
  17. Rubicon Wheel/tire question...bear with me...lol.

Iā€™ve heard that you can put 35ā€™s on a stock rubi and rims. I have 35ā€™s on XR rims and have welled hard at Wolf Caves in TX aired to 10/11 psi and burped them a few times but 0 issues with tire placement. Might rub with sway bar unlocked and flexed but, I wouldnā€˜t be the authority though.
  18. Doors-off Mirrors

For me the CMM have been worth it. None of the stuff they make has been anything short of high quality. I mounted mine high for when Iā€™m on the trails and around town I like them higher to keep people from bumping them. They also fit into a bad that easily slides under the seat. They are...
  19. What do you use your 4 Aux buttons for???

    1) Relay to power winch (set to ignition only) 2) Quick connect for my air compressor (two pin trailer connector) 3) Pod lights on bumper 4) GMRS radio master switch
  20. Rear bumper ?

I destroyed my stock steel so, Iā€™m running bobbed right now. Be careful with those corners and wrap arounds if you crawl at all, tub takes more of a beating from the bumper than the rocks.
