I got the mopar doors off kit when I ordered my jeep. Looking at the install instructions it says "for off road use only." Will these be ok at highway speeds?

I am not familiar with the factory ones, I use Carolina Metal Master mirrors but I think it’s just a legal issue. If you read Your manual and warning labels, they say that the doors are only to be removed for off road use. I believe that Is because they don’t meet the minimum crash safety requirements with the doors removed.

Yes, $200 mopar ones
Jeep Wrangler JL Doors off mirrors 1C546861-F755-44AB-94F2-40AF4A115757

And $5 auto zone ones

are both great. Mopar ones are mounted with 2 screws and a vise, so over engineered it will likely survive a wreck…Check the first photo for the 70+mph bugs we got in the nc swamp from Wilmington to raleigh

Yes, you'll be fine. It's a legal disclaimer, as Jeep doesn't recommend driving on public roads with the doors off.

Where’d you get them for $200? I picked up my Jeep yesterday. I asked the dealer of they had the Jeep door off ones and he said he had the a-puller ones there and they mentioned needing an adaptor kit of some kind. Theirs was $340. What you have looks great! I put a cheapie set on from Amazon which are functional but they vibrate. Not a deal killer per say but I’d like to have a set like yours.

The mirrors in the top picture is what I ordered with my Jeep. They were $195 with my factory order.

Same, checked the box on factory order. Here is a video showing installing bracket, with the mirror off. But mine came assembled.

2 things to add: CMM mirrors are sweet AND do you want them for safety or legality? My state only requires a rear view mirror.

I have the Mopar mirrors too but I gotta tell you that I love that setup you have. Pretty cool that it integrates a low-profile footpeg too. Good stuff!

Interesting that the video showing the installation shows a Jeep with the Mopar Tube doors at the end. But when using the tube doors, you install a different set of mirrors- the "Tube Door mirrors" and not the "doors off mirrors."
