These showed up yesterday... a 4-door set of JL/Gladiator door pockets. The front pockets have been in production for a while; the rear door pockets are now officially available.

I keep getting the lace hooks on my boots caught on these damn things. I nearly twisted an ankle once.
Haha I just did the same. Ripped part of it. Brand new 4Xe, Haven’t even had it an entire week. I thought… whelp….

I’m glad you quoted me on this. I didn’t know about Overland Outfitter’s door pockets. That seems to be a really good solution.

Just this morning, I finally got fed up and pulled them out. They literally just pulled out of the trim. It’s an under wire with an elastic band at the top. Looks way better than the sagging nets.

While I was at it, I had an idea. I tried replacing them with the plastic chicken pen nets and 1/4 inch elastic run along the outside. Then using a screwdriver, pushed the cord into the molding on the door. Came out ok. I’ll see how long it lasts.

Anyway it was a cheap solution with stuff I had laying around. However, even just having them off looked good enough for me.
How long did these last? Did/do you like them?
They look more my style and more practical than most of what I'm finding for sale as replacements

@jscherb (or anyone!)
Advice and or videos for popping off the bottom of the door panels in order to slide the pockets behind them? I'm guessing it's, like many Jeep things, "pull on it and it will probably feel like you're breaking it but you're not" 😆
I can see one of the pegs that I'm trying to unplug ifrom the door, but darn it feels like I'm going to snap something

After you remove the two screws at the bottom of the panel, get your fingers under the bottom of the panel and gently but firmly pry the panel out, nothing will break. You'll probably have to pry it at one end and then the other to get the clips to release across the whole panel.

After sliding the door pocket up over the bottom of the panel, you do have to be a bit careful that the clips are properly aligned with the holes they go into before pushing them back in place, if they're not aligned they could break.

It's really not too difficult.

I used a forked plastic auto trim pry tool on each peg to pop them out straight.

I did break something 😂 😂 (But, it was easy to fix -- A couple of the pegs stayed stuck in the doors. I pried them separately, then slid them into the panel.)
I've only done the driver's side for now, but the door pocket looks very nice. A great visual improvement, and it actually being functional is fantastic!

Ps. Thank you for the fast responses!

Thank you for your help. I am very happy with the Overland Outfitters pockets. I think they look great, and they've been very useful, while also not intrusive
Definitely happy with them.
(The front pouch is even large enough to hold my metal water bottle)

So my wife and I both have 2024’s with power seats. I wanted to see if the DV8 pockets would actually work, they do but they touch the controls. I got them on sale so I decided instead of returning them I’d do an experiment and ”improve” them. I cut out the section that messes with the seat controls so nothing touches them and they have full travel. I put them on the doors and kept the netting in instead of removing it. The netting pockets can actually still be used but now have support and only have to use them in the section that was cut out for small things anyway. I might get some bungee cord and weave a section that I removed but the nets work just fine there.
