I have a 22 392 with 13K miles. Doors haven’t come off yet. I noticed a ticking sound from the driver and rear passenger door. These are the most commonly used doors. The sound comes when open and closing. Can’t locate where it’s coming from. I tried WD40 on the hinges but no improvement. I posted a video of it. Any one of this issue or know what it could be?

Known issue. It’s internal to the door and you can’t fix it.

I second this.
It’s the beam inside the door in which the door check is connected too.

essentially the glue has come undone.

Trust me forget about it and move on.

I’ve decided that when my doors start clicking like crazy I’ll just undo the door checks and rely on only the straps like JKs.

You can fix it. I had the issue with my 21 2 door and pulled the interior trim panel to access. I ran a thick bead of clear silicone along the top of the bar between it and the door skin, let it set up for a day, and the sound is gone. Door feels less flimsy when closing also. I had pics, but they're gone now.
