Doesn't anyone wave anymore?

I've seen a few angry-eyed Jeeps around my area lately, and the drivers don't wave. My go to is V for Victory like the old days, which most people interpret as the peace sign these days.

I guess that tracks?

Yeah well we don't exactly do Victory Day parades anymore either.

I noticed that too, but kept waving at them and eventually realized it was just the younger guys/gals in the angry Jeeps that weren't waving back. Now I regularly come across a few that wave more enthusiastically than anyone else I come across.

The JT trucks are a mixed bag. Some wave, but most don't.

The older the Jeep, the less likely they'll acknowledge you in a JL. Get a few JKs that wave if they feel like it, but anything older and forget it. Those grumpy motherfuckers always look miserable for some reason, but I still wave just cause I really like the older Jeeps.

I just got back into a wrangler after about a 12 year break, and in the past 2 weeks I've probably waved at 40-50 jeeps and had maybe 4 wave back. When I had my TJ literally everyone waved. Is that not a thing anymore? None of the people with a dash full of ducks has waved, I just get this weird vacant eyed stare like "Why are you waving at me?"

yes, I wave, most likely to the car behind you...

Mainly because everyone and their mother has a jeep now. Its not a "club" anymore, if you will.

A generation has changed since you had your TJ, or I had mine for that matter. No one waves anymore. Young people don't get married anymore. Clerks at a gas station don't know how to count change anymore. And on it goes...

Took me a really long time to finally stop double spacing. Taking several years of typing in school just cause it was a "fun" class will do that.

And I always carry a good bit of cash, even though I almost always pay with a card to get cash back. Never know when you'll meet a top-class hooker in your travels, or maybe a good deal on some spare tractor parts (plus some places charge more for plastic)

There are so many Jeeps on the road now adays, but I will wave if someone waves, but it is tough to see with all the tinted windows until it's too late. I don't go out of my way to wave at all Jeeps though.

Oh, do not get me started. I will forever put two spaces after a period because it is easier to read. (Even if most things take it out automatically these days.)

Receiving change.

I can't recall the last time a cashier didn't literally drop the coins on top of the paper bills, and shakily hand it to me, sometimes without even mentioning the amount I'm receiving back.

I've also given up expecting my change to be counted, or for the drone at the register to even know what "counting change" actually means if requested to provide that actual service.

Lower your expectations, and life will be much less stressful!
