I didnt realize they merged with tire rack. Ive heard nothing but good things about discount tire and their service (at the actual shops). Id cancel everything and start over fresh whether with them or somewhere else.
Yeah, I hadn't heard about that either. Apparently Discount Tire bought Tire Rack in 2021.

There’s a novel idea. You mean like instead of venting your side of the story to random strangers on a forum, you actually hold the business accountable?

Nope no sensibilities offended. It’s just weird to me when people seek sympathy or agreement from strangers on a forum rather than directly dealing with the people involved.
Were all 3,000+ posts of yours as useless as these two?

Discount Tire moves customers through quick. I’ve had to have tires rebalanced right after driving away too many times. I don’t go there anymore.

I have had very good experiences with Discount Tire consistently over the years, here in WA as in CA.

My suggestion is cancel your order and do the entire thing in person at the store closest to you. My hunch is the online part is to blame.

Good luck.
This. Do it in person. I've purchased wheels and tires online and had issues, but when I go in person, everything seems to work out just fine. More than that, it gives you the opportunity to build a more personal relationship with whoever you're working with and can use that to your advantage, they feel more like you're their personal customer so they want to take care of you that much more. People like to talk about good customer service, but it's also possible to be a good customer ;)

Don't trust them! Those 20 somethings know nothing. My sister went for an air check and the kid told her the "lug nuts were swollen" and she needed new tires because they were 5 years old.
Lug nuts can actually swell, on chrome covered lug nuts, rusts forms between the steel lug nut and the chrome cover causeing protrusion.

My friend was at my house from Michigan and had a flat tire. Some of the lug nuts were so swelled, we literally had to beat a socket on to them with a 32oz ball pean hammer. One of them, we had to grind, pry, twist, chisel the chrome cover off. A gosh dang nightmare.

Was that really necessary? I apologize if I offended your sensibilities, but I find it helpful to type out all of the issues and facts and share them to people who also have experience ordering wheels and tires for feedback.

I know there are oftentimes reps of certain companies browsing the forums who may be able to step in and help out.

So maybe you should just scroll on by rather than make passive aggressive comments.
Honestly sounds like you shouldn't be ordering wheels and tires online because you don't know what you are doing. Who doesn't order five wheels for a jeep? Who orders a wheel in an offset that the manufacturer doesn't even make?

Cancel the order, go to your local Discount Tire and get the order right.

Those 20-somethings know more about tires than you ever will.

Yes, five-year old tires should be replaced.

Yes, lug nuts can swell (this was shown to me last Saturday at a Discount Tire when I was getting tire replaced on my daughter's car - they couldn't get the lug wrench over the edges of the nuts).

I've had a great experience with tire rack. I recently ordered ko3 bfg 315/70R/17 with the same wheels -12mm
you gotta way better price than I did for those awesome beadlocks.
when I realized ko3 load range went from c f they processed my return and re order of ko2 set even though I drove on them for almost 2 months
the dealer is the problem.
