I've lost count a long time ago how many sets of wheels and tires I've purchased from them over the last couple decades. Your best bet is to go into the store and order in person with a sales rep. This will not only help ensure you're ordering what you want correctly, it also gives you the chance to ask for a discount. They are Discount Tire afterall. Be sure to ask. They will follow through. Ask again too because they always seem to find something they can cut on.

My 2 cents - They can't make a unilateral change to your order w/o your permission /involvement. Your only recourse may be to cancel and restart - your deposit should not be at risk but I would get that reversed on your card before too much time goes by - put the max pressure on or nothing will happen

I ordered through custom wheel offset and it was good.

Huge order though and I had to pick them up freight. Wheels, tires, and sensors installed. All I had to do was get some lug nuts and put on the the wheels. No issues.

I appreciate you sharing your experience! I feel more confident I made the right decision to not use Discount Tire in the future. The last time I ordered a specific tire I wanted online and scheduled a service for installation. Once at the store they advised me they couldn’t get the tire I ordered and offered a more common tire that was the OEM tire which were ok but not great. I reluctantly agreed but decided to go another route in the future. I my mind there was no reason they couldn’t have told me those tires weren’t available at time of order and don’t consider the tactics good business.
