I’ve had my Jeep for two weeks now and still can’t seem to figure out what this dial does. (I can’t wait to see these comments) ?

It's for the ambient lighting in the footwells.

While you're "discovering", I'll save you some time/headache on the other one next to it.

You've probably discovered that it's the rest of the lights - interior, etc. HOWEVER, if you click it all the way up, it not only forces everything to full brightness, but if you use Android Auto (and probably CarPlay, though I can't confirm) it will ALSO force your display to stay in "Daytime" mode, regardless of any settings in Android Auto or the light levels outside.

For it to function correctly (auto-switch between day/night mode so you're not blinded at night) you need to click it all the way up, and then roll back ONE click and just leave it there.

It literally took me like, a week of fiddling to figure that out.
