I figured I would ask here instead of create a new thread but does anyone else find the dashboard dimming when headlights on to be too low? I have the right dial and left dial all the way up and when the headlights kick on, the 2 screens are too dim. If I move the right dial up a click then it goes into day mode and is very bright.

I wish I could get the dark theme to be a little brighter. Anyone else seeing this or is it just mine?
There is a headlight on and headlight off master brightness control in the settings of your UConnect. Also, the dial on the left was MAINLY put there for the Jeeps that have ambient footwell lighting. Jeeps that do not have the footwell lighting only have the door handle lights.

If you don't get the foot well lights can they be added after market? If so, any clue on where to order them?

Bringing this back as we just picked up our Sport S and would like to know as it’s something that gets no mention when comparing a Sport S to Sahara. Kind of ticked it’s not there so if it can be added to the Sport S “to do” list I’d like to do it.

How can you be ticked? Really, there is a reason the Sahara and Rubi cost more, it’s only natural the base models lose some features. Do you expect the Sport to have similar features as a more expensive models? Of course not.

Kadonny- perhaps “ticked” was too strong a word. I know there’s lots that Sport S doesn’t get compared to Sahara and Rubi. Truth is, the sport S was loaded how I wanted and the payment was still less than my mortgage. So— that’s why we went that way. Won’t worry about it as I’m sure in the future I can do something to alleviate the issue or make it better as I can with most things from the sport s.
But thanks for pointing out that “you get what you pay for”.
