Jeep probably won't slow down, but good to see that it's being brought to attention elsewhere.
I'm seeing a lot of irritation on this elsewhere as well. People are noticing.

If I was Jeep, I'd probably hold this MSRP for MY2019. In my sole opinion, that would be reasonable.

Yes let’s face it! Nobody likes to see a price increase do they? But on a fully loaded Rubi it’s about 1.5% total. And the bitching is coming from people who are going to dump another $5 to $10 Grand into it on lifts, wheels, tires, and bumpers and winches. LOL
Wow! I bet those were the exact words used by someone on the FCA board when they discussed the price increases. :captain:

Prices always increase. The new 2019 Ram is even more. I know it sucks but it is what it is. If it’s any consolation, I ordered prior to the increase but have to eat it myself. My thoughts are, well, I’m already over 50, what’s a couple hundred more at this point.

Considering it’s a first model year/ redesign - meaning potential bugs to be worked out- AND - I still haven’t actually seen any on the road- I find it a little presumptuous of FCA to be doing this.

Wow if this is accurate, according to FCA it costs more to delivery a Wrangler to their dealers than it does for a Ram 3500 4x4 Dually. Gouge much do you. FCA is riding this JL Wrangler money train for all its worth.
Here is my dually sticker from '16. Not sure what they charging now and add the fact that my dealer is 16 miles from Toledo so I'm paying the same as someone from California!

Having some concern for the smaller stuff though, is how I ended up in a decent financial situation with zero debt even while not raking in the dollars. It starts to add up and I've seen people get into trouble with nickle and dime here and there. Plus a thousand dollars extra on a JL instead buys the new electric guitar I've been coveting!

I agree the price increase is quite odd being so new. IMO the FCA and all vehicle manufactures are getting insane on pricing. They nickle and dime us for all sorts of nonsense. I agree with @Indio if you let the nickles and dimes go unnoticed before you know it, you are at the table looking at financing a 78K Ford raptor for 84 months @ 5%.....

My dealer was pretty straight up about it. He said the sooner I order the better as Jeep is seeing that this model is selling fast and that their are a few options that are really popular, so Jeep has been raising the prices.....Supply and demand drives pricing. He was expecting the price to potentially go up again if the sales don't slow down.

There's an added $50 for Hawaii customers, but I know the barge costs more than that. Those closer tot he plant are probably subsidizing the delivery costs to the rest of the country.

I ordered in early Feb. My dealer told me that I would not have to pay the difference... You might want to double check with your dealer...

As long as you signed a purchase of sale agreement prior to this increase it shouldn’t affect you.
