If a dealer offers 5% below invoice, does this include the destination fee.? Or do they generally compute the price minus the percentage off of invoice and then add the destination fee?

My dealer did the 7% off of the total FWP + destination with the quote he gave, but we'll see when it comes in.

It will vary by dealership.

The selling price is between you and the dealer, but the dealer invoice does include the destination fee.

Hi Allen, it's my understanding that several of the high volume east coast dealers subtract the destination fee from the invoice price, calculate the selling price based on the agreed percent off invoice and then add the destination fee back in. It's another way to claw back more profit along with their high document fees.

Later,
Johnny
