Destination price increase is because the have to switch to more trucks than rail for some reason. This is what’s up .

Why don't I see these price increases on Jeep.com Build a Jeep? Is the Web site that far behind?

Ahh so I bet it is a golden ticket. Only a select few get them if so.

I have bought 5 jeeps in the last 3 years and always get Jeep emails. I didn't get this one so it must not be for everyone unfortunately.
I got one as well, same thing - Wrangler excluded.

I ordered about 2/3 and in JB hold for a little there, but my sticker was just created! It shows the new 1445 destination, but I'm just assuming I will pay the signed negotiated price at the dealer.

This is seriously F-Ed up - I guess us people holding out for the 2 doors are screwed :(
Jeep is absolutely going full-bore on the idea of "f*** them, if they want the vehicle they can handle anything we do to them".

The pitfalls of a highly in-demand vehicle with no competitors, I suppose.

I'm still in the Wrangler game but I definitely feel like we're getting cucked by FCA.

It's a completely unacceptable price, and just shows that they want to gouge in a non-negotiable area, or just can't run competent shipping operations.

For comparison, a 2018 Toyota 4Runner, which is exclusively produced in Japan, is a $995 destination and processing fee to put it on a boat from Japan to America, then truck to anywhere in the lower 48. The fact a domestically produced vehicle is over $400 more than a vehicle travelling so much more is ridiculous. Not that I think a soul here is defending their destination pricing.

You know all joking aside this is a result of the free market we live in. It doesn't matter at all how much people bitch about the cost of a vehicle or the freight charge to get it, if people keep stepping up and buying it they will keep charging for it. It truly is just that simple, PERIOD!
Yep. They're free to charge what they want. I just think having industry high delivery fees on a domestic vehicle is silly. They should just put those increases into the MSRP, imo.

Yes let’s face it! Nobody likes to see a price increase do they? But on a fully loaded Rubi it’s about 1.5% total. And the bitching is coming from people who are going to dump another $5 to $10 Grand into it on lifts, wheels, tires, and bumpers and winches. LOL

Good point- besides, it’ll be my first Wrangler and as I’m getting closer to the big five oh, I’m thinking the last vehicle I ever buy - unless I get to the point where I just can’t climb up into it anymore :cwl:

Factory order JL once I finalize the configuration..

I think I have officially hit burned out on the whole idea of getting a two-door Jeep.
I have sold everything but a kidney on ebay since last year to purchase my base stripped out two door standard transmission roll up Windows jl sport. Before I can even see one in person or take it for a test drive they raise that price by $850 with destination and MSRP increases.

Add salt to the wound that nobody and I mean nobody here in Arizona will offer any sort of discount on a factory order.

I honestly think two door sales are way down because the Jeep is now mainstream for a daily driver and not just something everybody has tucked away in their garage as a toy. It's nothing any middle income household can afford as a toy anymore, they have totally lost that market share in my humble opinion.
4 doors rubicon's Tahoes Expeditions Etc, sure I can see all that stuff being 50K, but a base a sport that you have to pay $1,300 just to get air conditioning in, that ain't no $35k vehicle.

By the way that's about a 4% price increase on my build.
All this time I'm working to get maybe 4-5% off of MSRP and suddenly MSRP just went up 4%.

I would hope the signed invoice would serve as somewhat of a contract. Pretty messed up if the dealer changes it.
