Derringer install: help please!!!

I removed my Derringer last year before having my DPF replaced. The dealer "suggested" that I do it to avoid putting him in a bad position with Jeep. I've procrastinated on the reinstall because the plugs for the MAS and the FRP are intimidatingly hard to access - the FRP, especially, is a real bitch. Has anyone come up with any tricks, such as removing some extraneous parts that are blocking the sensors? The install is incredibly quick/straightforward except accessing those two sensors.

I know a whole bunch of us have installed Derringers. I'm looking for a "why didn't I think of that?" suggestion.

So, I wish there was a way to make it easier. I put the hood up against the windshield, climb up on the bumper and then use a 2 in piece of foam to kneel on. Then I remove the turbo air cooler and move it out of the way. I take out the charge pipe out going into the turbo. Map sensor is a piece of cake. (next time I go in I am going to replace the Map sensor). FRP is still a pain. But, taking it off the first time I broke the tab the connector locks on to. bought a new FRP sensor to replace it, but forgot where I put it. I haven't had any install issues.

Unfortunately, the Derringer gets an error all the time while driving, but still functions. I get an !D-ERR. lost communications with Derringer.

I'm just brain storming here friend. Do you think clearing all of the codes with a scanner be an option?

Not getting any engine codes at all. I have cleared them just to be sure. Took the black cap off...didn't do anything. Contacted Banks and they are going to call on Monday. worked great for a couple years and then all of a sudden started this non-sense. More to come!

Regarding the original question, don't have a good answer, i have actually found it easier to reach around the turbo pipes as opposed to removing them. When removing/installing the elbow that goes into the turbo it's really easy to lose the bolts. I usually stand on a crate at the right fender to get in there. I have also broken the locking clip on the FRP cable but it hasn't caused any issues, knock on wood. Try to avoid installing/removing in the cold as the clips can get brittle.
