The Wrangler sticker is dorky and deserves to die. I’d leave the rest.

Just be glad we didn’t get a front badge like the JK. So cringe.

I don’t usually ask opinions but this minor cosmetic emblem thing is something I need another point of view on. See pic below.

So I’ve got a 19 Sahara. The emblems and the Wrangler decal have always annoyed me, not individually, but all three don’t match from the factory.

The Sahara emblem is a satin kinda silver, the JEEP is chrome, and the Wrangler Unlimited is both a sticker and it has black lettering.

I’d like to leave at least one emblem. I’ve considered plasti dipping the Sahara and Jeep emblems. I also thought about leaving only the Wrangler Unlimited because it would at least match my red and black colors the most.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Now that you point it out, it doesn’t look good!!! None of the three match at all. How weird! I’d just keep the Jeep and toss the rest. I like the idea of plasti-dipping it though!! I have a ā€˜23 Sport S and all it came with is the Trail rated badges and the Jeep lettering. I would have taken anything else off. Just my two cents! Good luck with your decision!

I got rid of everything including the hood decal, Rubicon decals, and 4xe badge on the tailgate. Looks so much cleaner and I'm not giving away free advertising.

My used JL Freedom, with extra crap adhered by the PO and used car lot, and the factory. Including the giant star on the hood. This beach jeep was suffering from an identity crisis.

The freedom package in 2020 also included premium top, special color rubi wheels, partial leather seats, white interior stitching, and running boards, all welcomed changes even if you don't like the stickers, or they make no sense with your exterior color.

second day of ownership after taking off all the crap and stickers. I left the star tramp stamp on the rear quarter, it adds nice symmetry with the gas filler and is a reminder of the OEM sticker package.

I removed the Jeep and Wrangler badges within a week of buying my '18, but left the Sahara badges on for about a year until I got tired of them too.
I even removed the Trail Rated badge, but did replace it with a Beach Rated one due to the dimple in the fender.

I just prefer the clean look, and hey, if you don't know it's a Jeep...

Personally I'm not a fan of de-badging, whenever I see any de-badged car I assume the owner is embarrassed about the model/trim they have and doesn't want anyone else to know. But maybe that's just me.
Apart from that, I just like the way the badging looks on most cars, and particularly on Jeeps. Maybe I'm weird.
If it were an Altima I'd agree. Some of us like to remove them to keep people guessing. And some of us add even more to keep the guesses coming.

I’m mostly on the debadging camp in your case.

On mine, I took out the sticker, plan on covering the Jeep with a colorful sticker and will leave the Sahara alone for now. Have quite a ā€œcollectionā€ of decals/stickers/vynils that I’ve been buying while I was waiting to get the Jeep. One day will have to decide

Took out dealer stickers from the back, too.

I think it’s just a personal thing. I customized mine.
