Death wobble 2022 Sarah 4xe

So a week after I bought my Sarah with 9k on it I had a death wobble a few times dealer did something it stopped temp . Back again they balanced all tires and drove 7 mikes said it was fixed . Today the wobble is worse than ever at 70 mpg on freeway if I hit a bump. Going back to dealer again on Monday !!!! What the heck is wrong and why aren’t they fixing it . I only have 20 k on it

Dealers go-to will be a dampener replacement. Let them do it, but it might also be worth while to have a reputable off-road shop check your track bar.

Diagnosing and fixing death wobble requires some mechanical expertise, understanding of the various causes of DW and, often, considerable patience. Dealerships tend to have none of the above.

This site has a search engine. If you search Death wobble you’ll find lots of information. Cutting to the chase, DW is often caused by loose or worn components. Replacing a damper never fixes anything. At best, it will briefly mute the wobble.

After reviewing the threads please let us know what you find. If you’re not equipped or inclined to do this yourself, folks on this forum may be able to help you find a good 4x4 shop near you.

Had dw after a yr, 21 Sahara, dealer replaced steering stabilizer and tie rod end at pit arm had play.. was told stabilizer are weak, newer ones are stronger
After this i cringe when ever hit a bump.. traumatized by death wobble

It may never have killed anyone inside the vehicle, but I’m sure a service manager or 2 have gone “missing” over the years.
