anyone else experiencing one? It’s consistent and annoying as crap. Sound like it coming from within the dash itself

I had that happen with my '09 JK. Drove me crazy. Took it to a dealership and the guys working in the service department told me it was a Jeep and a little rattle is to be expected in a Jeep. Yeah okay! I finally traded it in on a newer JK, that wasn't the main reason, but it definitely was A reason. Hope you can locate the rattle.

Are you driving an auto or manual? I've got a dash rattle on my new JK and it drives me insane. Worse in colder temps. Been to the dealer a few times and have gotten a few different answers but no fixes...

Yep, going to see if the dealer can find the cause when I take it in for the mismatched fender replacement.

The rattle in my dash was the only thing that could be or was fixed. The rattle was coming from the center of the dash.

Sorta sounded like loose change rattling in a cup. I knew that couldnt be it cause I dont have any change left after buying the Rubi...

They said they pulled the radio and either rerouted or secured a loose or out of place wiring harness. At any rate, it seems to be gone for now, back quiet as it was when I first bought it..

Yes, I have a dashboard rattle in a brand new 2018 wrangler. It's annoying and seems to be coming from the middle of the dash and rattles over uneven pavement, expansion joints in the road, etc. It's really evident at low speeds. So far the dealer is not interested in taking care of it. I contacted Jeep directly with no response. Yes, I realize this is a Jeep, but at a certain point, its not acceptable in any new car.

I have the same thing.... dealer can hear it but couldn’t fix it and their response was “it’s a Jeep”. I responded it’s a $50,000 Jeep...”. They are tearing my tailgate apart to try to make it so it will open and are replacing my infotainment systems which still does what ever it wants after several re-flashes

I don't understand this. Can you demonstrate the problem or is it intermittent? Take video of the problem - drive around or whatever until you find something that makes it happen.

Intermittent you're half-screwed from the get. If you can take them for a test drive and demonstrate it near the dealership, they can't ignore it - and it gives them a way to know if they've solved the problem.

Then politely follow the course: start with the dealer service advisor, then the service manager, then open a case at Jeep care center.

Three attempts and in our state the Lemon Law kicks in - which isn't fun but it is there.
