Let us know if you are able to at least authenticate the name of the white connectors. That's valuable intel no matter what. ?

Little flat head screwdriver like a glasses repair one and on the one side is a clip. Push the screwdriver toward the connector and pull up. Just needs a little pressure not much. That’s how I broke mine with to much pressure.
I made a $80 mistake ...

For just one? Are they high? Seriously, that would compel a strongly-worded email from me, or perhaps even a phone call, asking why I'm within $15 of a C-note for a .02 cent connector.

Can you provide us with the vendor name, and/or the part #? A search for "CE2721" returns a variety of links for ladies cat eye eyeglass frames.

I inquired with two companies - both high as hell $75 to $83 for the little $1 dollar plastic piece.
Connector Experts + FindPigTails.com - both have them in stock for a high price.
Will now inquire with TE Connectivity - found the STAR connector on their website - out of stock, but they have all the detailed drawings - maybe they can provide the plug part# ?

There aren't enough swear words to adequately express my thoughts on this...
I got an answer from the guys that make the green STAR connector, but basically, they want me to order a large lot - how many do we need?

... and this is why they can charge us an arm + a leg for just a few connectors ...
I'm pretty sure one of the large connector houses Amphenol etc make them too, but identifying them is a task in itself!

I'd be in for 6, or even 12, to help you out here and to have spares on hand. That said, there's just no way on God's green earth that I'm paying anywhere near $80+ for each of them.

How about this: how many connectors would $20 get me as part of a group buy?

Let me respond to the connector people and find out how much we are talking about here. In the past when I was ordering those kind of parts - it would have not been more than $2 a piece.
Times are crazy so ...

I’m in for $20 also if it will help.

Hello - finally an update ...
I had the hardest time to track down the little 2 pin white connectors that connect into the green STAR connector under the glove box. Vendors that I initially found had outrageous pricing.
Finally, I believe there is a solution.
You can go to Mouser Electronics and order the part numbers below - they are in stock, and I tried my best to make sure that these connectors are the ones we need.
Should receive them in a few days and replace the two broken ones I have in my Jeep.

Good find, please let us know if these are the right connectors. So often the factory connectors don't have the part number on them and you're stuck buying a whole harness and the work of running it when all you need is a $0.50 piece of plastic that you can transfer the old pins into with no more than a paperclip (or pin extractors) and a little patience.

Hi
Yes, these are the correct connectors - did a dry fit with a spare green CAN Bus and they fit fine.
Ordered pin remover, crimper and 100 connectors for the price of one pigtail they wanted to sell me ...
