The last couple weeks I have had an intermittent issue. 2019 3.6 with ess bypassed with fuse pull and auto start stop eliminator. First time I noticed it was I used remote start and I always verify its running. I leave to go to work and the Jeep is off. Get in and push the start button and my check engine light is on. Read the codes and I get U0121, U1110 and U1120. Which relate to brake system control module, speed signal and abs signal. Clear codes and everything seems fine for about a week. Remote start it this morning. Jeep starts. I go to leave for work and its off. Get in push start and it lights up like a Christmas tree. (see pics) After about a minute everything other than check engine light goes out. Pull the codes to see what is going on(see pics) Get to work and pull codes again because check engine light went out and nothing is there. I am thinking possible wheel speed sensor and it is causing everything else to light up. Also got service 4wd and service shifter just couldn't get the pic before it cycled. Welcome any advice.

Indeed, it looks like a Christmas tree. The U0121 code means there might be a serious problem with the ABS control part or how it connects to the car's communication network. It's important to check this part, its wires, and its connections carefully to find and fix any issues.

I will start at the module and go from there.

After researching this I see there are a few threads on here with the same or close to the same issues and codes happening over the years to others. Looks like there has been some success replacing the green canbus behind the glove box. I ordered the part and will try this to see if it solves the issue. I will post results after replacing.

If I had the issue, I would 1st change out the 2 yr. old Main battery and clear codes.. IF the issue persisted, I would then replace the green block.

Proper load test will cost you time and money. Easier... more cost effective, to change out the battery since it is aging out/has aged out.

Start with the canbus. It costs $7 and takes 10 minutes to replace. Many of us (myself included) had the same issue and a new canbus fixed it. Nothing is 100% guaranteed, but this is by far the cheapest and easiest first step.

I am going canbus first. I popped out the glovebox yesterday and made sure all the connections were tight and a rodent wasn't in there chewing on anything. I know the AGM batteries have a shorter life but it just hit 2 years old in October. Last time I had a battery issue my EVIC would show a steady state at 14.2v and above. I monitored it yesterday driving around and it would go down to 13.4v so I believe the battery is ok. Canbus should arrive tomorrow and I will swap it out and see if it happens again. I could see the battery going bad if it wasn't a daily driver but am I wrong to expect 36 months out of a new battery?

You think after only 24 months these batteries age out? I was thinking along the lines of 36 months. I know it is not the traditional 60 months but man 24 is short.

I hear ya.... but "if in doubt, whip it out" so to speak.... or other choice is to pay lots of $ to have it properly load tested, so you know the battery is not the underlying issue to your problem.

A decent H7 (Go with an H7!) is not at all expensive and ... and your battery is 2 yrs old so indeed, is relatively old....

Main battery talk....
