I thought it would be good to keep a thread going with the latest Uconnect 5 update/version, for those with 2024+ Jeeps.

I'm still at 14-PROD

Had Jeep in for service back in April, my VC buttons don't work. They told me VC only works with Android Auto/Carplay.

Not True.

Stellantis Customer Service just told me to take for Manual Auto Software Update.

Mine was in the shop two weeks ago and they claimed there was no software update available.

@JeepCares my 2024 that I took delivery of in August 2023 is still on FCA-MY24.U27.14-PROD.

Why doesn't it auto-update? How does the system know to push out a new update?

I was just informed that Dealer has to perform the update (Dealer Mode)

I don't believe that ... and there have been other posts where users have said that a new version appeared.

I don't believe that ... and there have been other posts where users have said that a new version appeared.

When I try OTA it never gets past "scanning" in my driveway.
PS: My Off-road pages don't work.

I am mostly interested in understanding how this is supposed to work, shouldn't the updates come automagically? Seems crazy that everyone has to contact jeep cares to get updates pushed ...

Same with maps if you have the Nav option and service. My maps are significantly outdated.

When I asked about this, I was told my maps were the most up to date (called Jeep) and apparently they only release updates every few years. Take it for what it's worth...
