I know a little less than nothing about the Bronco, nor do I care to, lol…,but he said he doesn’t have electronic sway bar disconnect, that he would have to go down a trim to get it, or up to the raptor……. That doesn’t make sense to me. His is the wildpeak or some shit……?At least his tie rods appear to still be intact![]()
Damn these tires are getting EXPENSIVE - $600+ per tire ?. I paid like $350 a tire for my RG 37s two years ago.@Discount Tire , any updates on 38/13.50/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers ? Thanks
No kidding. If I were in the market today, there’s no way I’d pay an extra $100/tire for a 38” vs 37” (using Discount Tire pricing as a reference). Ridiculous.Damn these tires are getting EXPENSIVE - $600+ per tire ?. I paid like $350 a tire for my RG 37s two years ago.

Yeah I know they’re stupid expensive but I’m not gonna run 40s on the D44s. I know guys do it, but I don’t want to keep looking over my shoulder every time I get a little rough with her….. My build goal for this rig is what I’ve done so far with 4.88s and 38s being the last pieces of the puzzle.…. If and when I decide to go next level, I’ll do axles and coil overs or DTD or whatever becomes the latest and greatest shock/spring option by then……?No kidding. To put it in perspective, a 40” Trail Grappler is $30 CHEAPER than the 38” ($558 vs $588).
I have been waiting for long time for tires to regroup with all this shipping issues and now that stores all over have overloaded stock on everything but still don't see overstock on tires and haven't heard anything that might point to that.Yeah I know they’re stupid expensive but I’m not gonna run 40s on the D44s. There’s no need to defend your build to me; I’m just frustrated as a consumer. Tires have increased in price since COVID a ridiculous amount, and the pricing on Nitto’s lineup makes absolutely no sense other than “because we can”. It just feels bad.Yeah I know they’re stupid expensive but I’m not gonna run 40s on the D44s. Thanks Jason, appreciatecha……Awesome build & thread! Was thinking about going with the MC 3.5" but this has me reconsidering for the RK long arm 3.5 adventure-x. Curious on your shock selection - did you consider the coilover option from RK vs the Fox 2.5"? Also are you still running the exact center vs the Fox ATS you previously had - and how would you compare those two? Thanks!
