I wound up reading through this whole thread. Thank you Roky and Colby for bringing us along for the ride. Your musings on why you did things and how you tested them really gives a glimpse into another world.

Happy new year.

You’re welcome brother, and thanks for reading…..it’s been a lot of fun…. I enjoy building it, as much as using it, lol…

Found a nice hole to drive through, tried it with just rear locked to see if BLD would work…. I think it would’ve eventually worked, but I felt the front slip so I locked the front….. you can hear the wife getting a kick out of it…..🤣

Happy New Year …my friends….
Awesome

Time to stop being lazy…😂 and drill out my sway bar for 9/16ths bolts… they fit everywhere except the bar itself, it’s 14 mm, so I been just tightening the shit out of the bolts….. but, since I use the disco so much (even on pavement) it works loose after a while….

Nah, it’s not tight anymore, when I put them on I just used the smaller bolts because that’s what fit the bar, I’ve been meaning to clearance the bar for the bigger bolts, you know for 5 years now, …… it’s just to easy to tighten them up and go……😂 ….

Went and got her weighed the other day…… 5520 lbs with me (200) in it…..That’s not horrible, just a little chubby 🤣….I don’t have any under armor on her yet, just diff skids… l plan on Artec aluminum, full kit is only 86 lbs….

This also gives me some clarity on just how stout my wooden ramp is… I’m not sure how much of the weight is actually on the ramp, but sometimes I don’t get on there perfectly and it still doesn’t budge……💪….case in point here….…😬
