Does this look like a crack in the frame or an intentional part of manufacturing? I have seen other places where the brackets are die stamped and formed in a somewhat similar manner, but this looks like a crack to me. It's in the section right above/behind the rear axle where the main frame rail was formed. Does anyone else have the same thing?

It's questionable, You need to take it to the dealer or sand the paint off and take a look.
I recommend Dealer.

I checked out a few new Jeeps at the dealer this week. They were all the same. So it appears it's some type of die stamping before the frame is formed in that area. However, I don't know why they didn't stamp small holes at the end of the cut to reduce stress.
