The few answers helped me find the answer. I think I need the convenience - and would regret soon if i don’t have them …

Thanks- all I needed to think it though. I think knew from beginning. ;-)
If you are asking yourself if you should then you've usually already made up your mind and just need that extra push. ?

I'd say 99% of people want power windows/locks/keyed entry, etc so for re-sale you're making the right decision.

I'm that 1% who looked all over for some roll down windows and no power locks. They don't make too many of those.

The keyless entry is the one that gets me. I could care less for the others.
I can't count the times I only had one finger to get on the door handle and unlock and open with groceries in my arms or some other bunch of stuff! Love proximity locks.

It’s all about owning the right Jeep and having the right ownership experience. I personally would find no power locks annoying because I lock my Jeep at work and the store and where ever I go. Manually unlocking and locking would be annoying for me.

but at the same time, if I was buying old cheap Jeep to have some fun with and it had manual locks and windows it would just fit and feel right. To pay $35k+ for a new/newer Jeep, I gotta have some creature comforts.

Would you buy a wrangler without electric windows, keyless entry, electric light on and off?

there are a few nice (2023) onces on the market but they are „naked“. I don’t necessarily need heated seats or stealing wheel. But to have to turn the light on and off, or put a key I to the lock sounds antiquated ;-)
When you lock yourself out of your vehicle at the worst possible time once or twice, you will really regret not buying this package. Plus, you also get remote start, and if it is an unlimited it is so so much easier to roll down the rear windows. Buy it! Over 6 years the addition to the payment is not that much!

Retired and loving it!
Because I am worried if I buy it without, everyone feels it’s necessary and I can never sell the car again. Wondering if cars without anything still sell, or if it’s better to invest for resale purposes.
We just sold our basic 2003 2-d Wrangler soft top TJ with 125,000-mi. for just shy of $9K. The sale took a grand total of less than 48-hrs. Manual locks and windows, am/fm/CD radio, auto, 6-cyl, AC. Nothing fancy.

Replaced it a few weeks later with a new '23 Wrangler 2-D with all sorts of neat toys....Electric door locks, windows, cruise, multi-function/source radio, automatic this, automatic that, heated seats and steering wheel, 8-spd auto, 6-cyl. Still learning all of them.

The point: Worry not about the future, get whatever makes you happy and can afford.

Heated steering and seats allow for more cold weather open driving, I can do without climate control since I mostly drive open top/windows.

Didn't think it was needed/useful but now I doubt I would buy a vehicle without it, same goes for the passive entry.

My butt now has to have electric seats. My brain sure likes the pushbutton open a door thingy. I want to go back to putting a key in the ignition switch.

I'm more concerned if my pre-strike Rubicon order included the front steel bumper. This is my 4th Jeep, all previous jeep affairs were low to no options.

If you are female, then yes, get the convenience package. All women love it, especially if it has remote Start. For resale value, get it.
If it is just a weekend Trail Buggy, then Keep It Simple. Less things to break.

Yr thinking too much into this. U don’t even have the jeep yet and yr worried about selling it? Just buy it and enjoy it. I bought a 2024 with roll up windows and manual door locks and couldn’t be happier. Don’t listen to what everyone says just do it

Through the years my minimum standards have changed with each purchase. Power windows, power locks, key fob, push button start, and back up camera are my desires in a vehicle. If it has those items it’s pretty much gonna have a plethora of other nice bells and whistles. Many years ago I effed up my left rotator cup and my work junker had manual roll up windows. That was a a new experience in pain every time I rolled the windows and vowed never again.
