Adding convenience package aftermarket

Hi. I didn’t bother adding the convenience package to my new JLU. But wouldn’t mind having my garage door opener and neighborhood gate buttons built in. Any thoughts on adding this aftermarket..

Do a search for diy homelink and several threads will come up. Several guys have done it. Would need the visor and to do a little wiring.
