Would you buy a wrangler without electric windows, keyless entry, electric light on and off?

there are a few nice (2023) onces on the market but they are „naked“. I don’t necessarily need heated seats or stealing wheel. But to have to turn the light on and off, or put a key I to the lock sounds antiquated ;-)

i would never again own a vehicle without power locks and windows. It would also be difficult for me to own a vehicle without automatic climate control. Once you get used to those, there is no going back. I would not settle without them. You will regret it very quickly

Why do you care what we want?
Because I am worried if I buy it without, everyone feels it’s necessary and I can never sell the car again. Wondering if cars without anything still sell, or if it’s better to invest for resale purposes.

Thanks for sharing. That’s what I am worried…. I have all bells and whistles right now. Not sure how it feels to not have it all of a sudden just to save a few bucks. Thanks.

Just Buy what you want. Nobody can tell you what the future holds resale wise.

Yes. I did exactly that in October 2020.

Prior to that point, I had owned vehicles with power everything for several decades. The idea that I'd miss any of it never came to mind. Some of us are just made of sterner stuff. ;)

I think you should buy the Jeep for you, not for someone else, or what it might be worth down the road. You'll always find a buyer and there are plenty of folks who appreciate or want a vehicle with basic/no options. Will it sell for less than Jeeps with options? In general, yes, but, you also pay less up front.

As I said in another thread, a good deal only feels good in the moment. You may end up having to live with that choice every day for years, so buy what you truly want or think is acceptable.

I have owned a Jeep with no options. It had its time and place in my life.

I have all that stuff now, but would be fine without it. However, it depends on your situation. I work from home and have a garage so I rarely ever lock my doors. Also, my windows are either up or the doors are off so no issus there. In fact I wish I had crank windows as that would probably make the doors lighter when I take them off.

The few answers helped me find the answer. I think I need the convenience - and would regret soon if i don’t have them …

Thanks- all I needed to think it though. I think knew from beginning. ;-)

there are lots of options out there if you look. If its a concern for you now, it will be a bigger concern later on after you have settled for less. good luck on your search and when you find it, enjoy the hell out of it!!! I do. Waited 50 years for my dream vehicle

No I would not buy without keyless entry, power windows, heated seats and steering wheel. Climate control is a whatever I generally manually set it half the time because of defrosting.

Its sort of like when people ask about Rubicon or not, then don't get it and regret it. You know you want all that stuff for convenience! :)
