Adding aftermarket remote start - suggestions?

Did the dealer say anything to you about adding the code for Remote Start? I ordered the Remote Start kit for my 2023 Wrangler Sport and tried to have the keys programmed at a local locksmith. They told me that remote keyless entry was required and they couldn't / wouldn't program the keys at all. So I need to head to the dealer next to have them program both key fobs. But I'm curious if they'll give me any grief about having to add the sales code, too.

ty budding go into the details about what the actual programming was, I think I remember seeing the documentation that went with it that required the dealer to plug in and unlock the feature then program the keys but can’t be certain

I can’t speak to adding a sales code but I ordered the Mopar remote start system for my 2020 JLUR earlier this year. Keys came cut from factory to match my VIN with the remote start button on the key fob. Had to pay the dealer a programming fee to have the feature turned on via a programming/software update - make sure to test it works before you leave because the dealer had no idea what they were doing (I had to walk them through finding my VIN, then going to some options to turn it on - someone has it posted on the forum). Since then, it works like a charm!

Yes - power locks/windows with proximity key from the get go.

Shoot. Mine has manual door locks. The local locksmith said remote start required an auto trans (which I have) and remote keyless entry (not necessarily proximity). I hope that's not true, for my sake.

Installed the X-Mark over the weekend. Super easy install and works flawlessly so far. Side note what the heck is the sticky gel they use on the inside of the dash?
