I subscribe to Consumer Reports (CR). Will continue to do so.

And I love my Jeep (23 JLU XR 2.0T). 20,000 miles so far with zero issues. Too bad they get a bad rep. From the latest Nov/Dec issue:

Retired and loving it!
I stopped reading, subscribing and paying the slightest bit of attention to CR. All of our vehicles have gone well beyond 100K-miles with few issues.

Why are we still posting about CR on a car forum? CR doesn't belong anywhere near any automobile.

I get paid to drive Jeeps :)
My husband bought a new 2010 Prius, the darling of CR. He had to replace the engine and the hybrid controller. Toyota supposedly knew about the engine issues ( first year Gen 3) but wouldn't do anything about it. There was a class action suit about the hybrid controller and he just got a $352 check for that. It's all a crap shoot. 🤷‍♀️

Their predicted reliability score is such a joke. I don't know why people take that rag seriously.

Unpossible! I have been assured by my betters that Toyota is impregnable and unimpeachable.

My Jeep is on the naughty list while the spouses Honda isn't - 3 recalls on the newer Honda:
- battery cable needs a fuse else might cause a fire in an accident
- steering gear
- fuel leaking

If you have more than one spouse you probably have bigger concerns…just sayin’
