That very well could be.. just weird that I never heard it until now. But that could be the caseSo the tierod antiflop will make noise if you twist it like that. All stock JLs do that. Go to a dealership and you can twist the tierod on a new one to do that.
You can hear my track bar pop in this vid. It was tight enough under normal circumstances, but as soon as I started doing anything with the tires on different levels it would pop. Once I tightened it over torque spec it stopped. I am wondering if yours is a bit looser and when you pull into your driveway it is enough to make yours pop.
