So here is mine. I am going to the dealer Monday for another issue so I will add this on. Hopefully they can get it handled. Only hear it at low speeds.
I put the new isolator on today. It did NOT fix the clicking noise. I didn’t think it would.

Update on my clicking problem. I needed an entire new front left hub assembly. Had to drive around with the dealer mechanic to show them. Unfortunately needed to be ordered.
Update on clicking sound: replacing the hub did not fix the clicking problem. Jeep continues to sit at the dealer

Took mine in today tech removed u joint and said nothing wrong with u joints so they didnt replace them. Found ball joints not torqued to proper spec. Torqued to correct spec and clicking is gone for now.

Someone else mentioned the same diagnosis...ball joints. Maybe this is indeed the cause.

Does yours sound anything like my video? I took mine to a Jeep specialty place to get an alignment and had them listen, they thought maybe the axle disconnect, located on the passenger side.

Sounds Exactly like that. They said they replaced that part on a Cherokee and it fixed the problem but didn’t get to mine yet. Ball joints were also checked but that wasn’t the problem either.

Is the clicking coming from the passenger side?

It very well could be the FAD. It uses a collar with internal splines that slides back and fourth and captures the splines of the outer axle. Maybe when turning the wheel it’s causing the outer portion of the axle to move more inward just enough to cause contact with the collar. The clicking sound could be the result of the splined axle coming in contact with the collar with the splines barely catching and slipping past each other. Just a theory. The fix would be to shorten the axle slightly or shim it or reduce the width of the collar or adjust the FAD mechanism to move the collar more inward. Don’t know if the FAD can be adjusted.

If indeed the ball joints are not properly torqued, that potential gap could cause the u-joint to become misaligned, not properly rotate as designed, and stress-click.
Good news is the ball joint nut is right there, so put the front axle on jack stands (to eliminate vehicle load weight) and hopefully an open-ended 7/8ths or whatever gets you a turn or two into spec.

Yeah that’s exactly how it was explained to me. The only issue is that it is coming from both sided

it comes from both sides but I wonder if the sound is resonating through the axel making it sound like different sides?

It does it in 4lo and 4hi also, so I don’t know

If it clicks in 4lo and 4hi, then I doubt it is due to FAD unless the FAD is not actually engaging leaving your front axle to spin freely.

My JLUR is at the dealership as we speak for the clicking. First they claim they didn’t hear it. Then they did. Then called and said they are charging me because I have 37’s on it. So I told them don’t touch it then. But I have had the click for 2 months now at full slow turns. I’m gonna try and tighten up the ball joint nut myself and see. Jeep will give any excuse to not fix or charge to fix a simple problem.

Hi all I've been noticing a clicking noise that seems to be coming from the from driver side wheel well only when I turn right.

Unless it also happens when I turn right and I'm just not hearing it.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm probably going to take it into the dealer, feel like something isn't tightened and hoping it's not u joint already going bad.
I have heard this noise that your speaking of. I cannot figure out where the hell it's coming from. It happens if I turn left and right.

Appointment set up for 8AM at the dealership, I'll let you know what they say about mine. Sounds like we all have the same issues. Good luck everyone.
