If your alternator is buried down low, partially shrouded, and you’re not pressure-washing directly at it from 2 inches away, it will probably be fine. Alternators are more water-resistant than people think.

I spray everything down with this, wait about 5-10 minutes, then rinse with no more pressure than an open garden hose. Comes out perfect every time.

the only thing I don't like about Super Clean is that it is corrosive to aluminum. Not a huge deal. But after a while the engine will build a green layer of corrosion.

They still call them weatherpacks these days? Anyway, yeah I pressure wash but stay a few feet away and haven’t had issues. Same for the radiator, gotta be careful with the fins there.

If you think it’ll help, especially if you go though mud, pieces of dead leaves, etc it’s not a bad idea to pull the electric fan once in a while as needed to get a multi purpose sprayer or something more gentle and flush the fins from the back side of the radiator. I’ve had a few large handfuls of debris come out!
