Check Engine Light Comes On When Using Level 2 Charger

I have a 2022 Wrangler 4xe that charges when I use the 12 hour changer that came with the car. A few months ago, I had a Level 2 charger installed. Every time I plug the Jeep in to the Level 2 charger it will not go charge and the check engine light comes on. Any idea on what the fix for this morning be? Thanks in advance!

sounds like an over amp or over voltage problem from the charger. have you tried a level 2 charger else were and it works?

Yes, I have and it does work. I am going to have my electrician look in to this - appreciate the advice!

most likely a failed resistor or voltage protector in the charger itself i would contact the mfg of the charger its self after testing for voltage drop form the house main lugs while you turn/ plug in the charge to the jeep
