Anyone buy & install level 2 charger at home for their Wrangler 4xe? Which one you buy? Where? How much? Feedback?
I purchased a Wallbox 40 amp at Costco on sale last year. They are a large company with good customer service. The JuiceBox 40 amp is $399 today.

ChargePoint Level 2 charger - has good cable (flexibility) - great phone support - plus in NY it has a rebate program setup (SmartCharge NY) with my energy provider so i get a check back at end of each month that i've used the charger - so far the charger did have a few bugs in it - they have been fully resolved after a firmware update and a few resets

I bought an Emporia smart charger. I really like the cable and handle. It has an attached plug cover to keep dust and water out when it’s not plugged in. That’s really handy since I charge outside and sometimes just leave it on the ground when I unplug. I use the app to schedule charging and avoid the highest electricity rates. Never had an issue with it.

Do you need an electrician to install these, or do they run off a regular outlet?
If you have an existing 220V outlet near where the charger will be and you buy a plug-in version you can do it yourself. If you buy a hard-wired version of the charger you'll likely need an electrician unless you know what you're doing.

Thirdly, fourthly, fifthly... whatever the Grizzl-e (non-wifi). 2 1/2 years now mounted outside in full exposure to the sun/wind/rain/snow with no issues.

Don’t have a 4xe but I have been using the Emporia Level 2 Charger (up to 11.5kW) for our Mach-E and Bolt EUV for years with zero issues. You can hardwire it or hook it up to a 240V outlet. It has many features.

Using a Grizzl-e Avalanche for a few years for my F150 Lightning and it's been splitting duty with my 4xe, and it's been great.

You might be asking the wrong question. Any UL certified L2 EVSE should basically work, frankly. The real question is whether the old wiring behind the walls of your garage is up to the task of a continuous load at whatever ampacity you intend to ask of it. That question should involve a qualified electrician.

Plus 1 more for the Grizzle-e; I've been using it with no problems, but I'm thinking of getting something a little more portable to plug into 14-50 plugs in campgrounds. The 32 amp charger posted by Br4hm4 above seems like a decent option- any other suggestions?

I got this Level 2 from Amazon for $149 and plug in to dryer outlet. 32amp max, I set to 24amp and pulls 22amp and charges in 3 hrs. it also comes with 110v adapter. Its an EG Evgoer. I also bought a Y extension adapter so I don't have to constantly unplug and plug this and dryer.
