How’s the experience with Ebay been? I see good prices, but on one listing for a set of 4 Baja Bosses, I could see the DOT date code and the tires were two years old.
No complaints. Most of the time it’s a stock photo they are using anyways, but you can always ask the seller what their dates are. Simple tire is actually a seller on eBay too. Simple tire requires you to choose one of their affiliated tire shops to bring your car to in order to get the deal. On eBay they can’t force you to do that, so they are one of my go to places for tires.
Side note, I drive 24k miles a year so my tires will never die of old age.

Discount Tire

I don't know who has the cheapest tire on the market at the moment, but I would at least consider getting a quote from discount tire for a few reasons; they are a forum sponsor, their prices are completive, they do a really nice job mounting and balancing large tires. If they don't get it right the first time, they will balance them until they are right, no questions asked.

Btw: I think you're making a great tire choice. ?
Also they will price match and agree they do a great job getting them balanced and mounted up

I’ve seen prices shift a ton. The most consistent deals I’ve seen though are usually through simple tire. They run discount sales a lot and if you’re a veteran, will apply a discount on top of those sales making them the lowest priced by a significant margin.

Just wondering what the consensus is for dealers/sellers with the best deals on tires? I'm about to have to get a new set of 35s, probably going with the MT Baja Boss AT. Prices I've seen among national dealers are pretty consistent in the $370 range. Ebay seems to have some better deals, just not sure I trust buying tires there. And I'm talking just purchasing them, I have a place I trust to mount/balance.
Cheapest is not always least expensive

Costco is the cheapest because they don't charge you for installation.

Discount Tire is the best for overall service, experience, support, etc.

I've heard that Discount will match Costco, but haven't tried that myself.

Tried Costco, unfortunately they don'y carry Mickey Thompsons. In fact my Costco only carries 4 brands: BFG, Bridgestone, Firestone, and Michelin.

Simple Tire on Ebay is looking like the best bet at the moment.

Bbwheelsonline.com.
B and B Wheels and Tires was fantastic to deal with. Best prices on the KO2s, free shipping, rebates on the tires and the wheels, and a refund for a portion of the mounting fees.
watch for their sales and combined with manufacturer rebates, no one else came close.
Very responsive as well - they know their stuff!

If you have a local shop you trust, you might start there......When I went looking for wheels and tires for my JLUR, I searched the web and found several groups that specialized in off road tires and got quotes from their websites for what I wanted. I took the quotes to my local Jeep shop and they beat the best deal by $100.... they ordered them, mounted, balanced and installed within 4 days of me contacting them.

I have always been loyal to Discount Tire but during my recent search for new tires for my wife's vehicle I went with Costco. Costco doesn't charge for install, road hazard warranty and the other items Discount Tire does. The exact same tire was about the same price but without all the addons I saved a lot. Downside to Costco is they only carry a few brands but Bridgestone is one of them so when it is time to replace my KO's I can get them there

I like Tire Rack….will ship to house or my mechanic (who knows his stuff) plus you get free road hazard insurance (which is a no brainer if you have those dumbass low profile tires on your daily drivers). You can geek out on all their tire info and reviews.

I second everything @Flip said. I bought my Nittos online through Joseph Rupp with @Discount Tire and he got me a great deal. Tires were delivered to the dealership and installed the day my Jeep rolled off the truck.

Edit - there’s no such thing as a good 4x4 shop anywhere near me - I shop online for everything, including tires.
Thank you for the shout out! I appreciate the opportunity to help!

Just bought my 4th set from Discount Tire, no complaints. I believe Tire Rack is a sister store of Discount Tire.
Thank you for you continued support! Much appreciated. BTW Tire Rack is now operating under the Discount Tire umbrella!
