I just wish I could get key-less entry and the Premium Top. I suppose I could just leave the doors unlocked. It's not like a canvas top is going to keep anyone out.

I don’t mind the crank windows but manual locks will suck.

You can most likely upgrade your top material with premium aftermarket later for $500 but it would be nice to get the premium top from the factory.

Those look like some decent discounts for a brand new model.

And notice how there is the same $3,200 price difference between Sport and Sport S for both 2 door and 4 door but the A/C is standard in the 4 door but not the 2 door.

That's really what I intended to say, because I had noticed it.

Creating the 4 door, and pricing it well-above the 2 door, is one of the most profitable moves Jeep ever applied to the Wrangler.

It is tinted. There is a $500 option on the Sport models to upgrade the soft top with tinted windows.

Looks like the second one has the A\T tires and tint. Looks much better with simple changes.

To me there is something special about a base 2-door.

But I would want AC, Premium Soft Top, technology, and LED lighting.

It's tough because you want that throwback but you want a couple of modern things too. But by the time you go to the Sport S to get some of those things then it isn't that throwback Jeep any more. It is just a not-as-nice Wrangler.

Me too. This Wrangler is my mid-life crisis car. I drove a YJ basically through all of my 20's. I loved that Jeep. I mean I. Loved. That. Jeep.

Now with a family of 4 I just can't justify a 2-door. But there are days when that's really what I want.

My longer-term plan is to drive a 4-door but at some point pick up a used YJ as a second car.

I was originally going to lease a Sport S but now I'm kind of leaning toward financing the base Sport for about the same monthly payment. The only thing I'm stuck on is going with the soft top or paying the $1100 extra for the hard top. I drive to work on the NJ turnpike almost everyday going about 70-80mph. Do you guys thing the hard top would be better for me because of the wind noise with the soft top? How bad is the wind noise, is the new soft top improved over the JK's soft top?

It is tinted. There is a $500 option on the Sport models to upgrade the soft top with tinted windows.

Worth every penny imho, otherwise you have one single tinted rear window which is just odd... plus it just looks better

Plus tint shops can't tint the plastic windows. I like all my window tint to match.
